Who Believes in Our Education System?

Not many I suppose. Although this is not a scientific survey, based on the friends I asked - most of try to go for the "best schools" (or what they think as the best). Others lament, "what to do, make the best-lah". Those with money, send overseas while some opt to take a different path like homeschooling.

Our minister of Education (past and present) sends them to international school and off overseas, bypassing our education system altogether. For those who have been asking about SPM exams in our homeschooling talks, you go the answer from the ministers themselves. Full story from Malaysia Today: Your source of independent news.

That's where my sceptism comes from. Nobody is interested or passionate enough to work on the education system in Malaysia.

The people who really care need to do something - the PARENTS. It is the fundamental duty and responsibility of parents/guardian to ensure that their children gets the proper education. The real question remains how can parents make a difference.

We parents, need to seriously explore this.
